One of the new rule modifications for the 2011-12 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series will have point leaders in the Pro and Pro-Lite divisions displaying their race number on a red background. A temporary reward that provides bragging rights over fellow racers, the designation will also make the top riders easily recognizable to fans.

Both Pro and Pro-Lite classes will start the season with a clean slate at Round 1, with the point leader coming in to each subsequent weekend carrying the red plate throughout that event.
