Jennifer Pare Returns To Top Of Podium, Trevor Leighton Rockets Up The Leader Board

Eagle, ID (February 25, 2013) Jennifer Pare returned to her winning ways dominating the Pro/Am Women’s class at the U.S. Air Force National in Salamanca, New York. This was the first time the tour has visited this region of the empire state and the massive crowd of spectators who turned out for the event witnessed great racing throughout the weekend.

Pare swept all of her qualifying rounds and the main event and now has a commanding lead in the points championship as the series winds down to its final two weekends.

In Pro Open action, Colby Crapo was finally able to fight through the bad luck that has plagued him during the mid part of the season. Crapo did have a drive belt break in Friday qualifying and was unable to compete in the main event, however, a strong performance on Saturday earned the St. Anthony, Idaho racer a spot in
the final where he finished sixth overall.

Andy Lieders and Trevor Leighton both had solid rides in the Pro Lite class, scoring fifth place finishes on Friday and Saturday respectively. Leighton also wrapped up two heat race wins during the weekend and was the number two overall qualifier on Friday. Lieders swept both of his heat races on Saturday and was the top qualifier.

Lieders now sits fourth in Pro Lite points, while Leighton has made a remarkable charge from 22nd to 8th in just the last two weekends of racing.

Up next are ACS rounds 13 and 14 from Fargo, North Dakota on March 8-9.
