March 4, 2013 – Wauconda, IL – ISOC Affiliate in Illinois Great Lakes Region Snocross (GLX) announced today that there track in Illinois, which is one of the closest to Lake Geneva will be OPEN for all who would like to get practice time on a large track before taking on the Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale Presented by Coors Light at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa.

Holiday Inn Express in Lake Zurich IL is also offering special rates to Snocross racers who stay there while practicing at GLX. You can get a room for under sixty dollars per night that includes an indoor pool and complementary breakfast in the mornings.

GLX will offer day and night practice times starting Monday March 4, 2013 through Thursday March 14, 2013.

There will be two sessions available daily.
AM Session – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
PM Session – 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (restrictions apply & advanced purchase is necessary)

COST: $50.00 per session for all riders regardless of class.

Cash or Check Only at the track, however you can purchase by credit card. Email Dennis to use this option.

** IMPORTANT NOTICE **  For lights to be turned on for a PM session a minimum of six (6) riders is needed, however any one or a group can choose to cover the minimum of $300.00 to get the lights turned on. A rider can put down a Credit card to guarantee the session, and you will only be charged if less than six riders attend the session and only the amount required to reach the $300.00 (Contact Dennis for details)

Walk-ins are accepted at any session, however we cannot guarantee an evening practice if we don’t know you’re coming so please sign up in advance to ensure you don’t arrive to a closed track.

All practice sessions are weather permitting.
