The Green Bay Blizzard are proud to announce their partnership with Wollenberg Motorsports for the 2014-15 race season.  The Blizzard will be joining a first class group of sponsors including Polaris Racing, Lottza Mottza Brew Pub Pizza, Castle-X, Miller Welders, Studboy, and many more in the Wollenberg Motorsports family.

The Blizzard will be sponsoring two Polaris sleds driven by Luke Wollenberg (#23) and Jake Geeseman (#139).  Both racers compete in the ISOC AMSOIL Championship Snocross National Series.  Wollenberg is coming off a season ending injury last year and is hungry to return to the podium.  After only competing in 8 races, Wollenberg was able to finish top 20 out of 105 racers in the National Sport Class.  This year he will be making his debut in the in the Pro Lite Class. Geerseman is making his first appearance with the Wollenberg Motorsports team.  With new support and team ownership, Geerseman has a promising future in the National Sport Class this year.

The Blizzard is excited to see what these two racers can do this season.  “As we compete for a championship this season on the field in Green Bay, we wish the guys luck on the track throughout the Midwest. Both Wollenberg Motorsports and the Green Bay Blizzard have dedicated championship caliber guys ready to compete. Hopefully we will all be celebrating in 2015, “says Coach Tommie Williams.  Owner Kurt Wollenberg had this to say about the two team’s partnership, “We are so excited to bring the worlds of professional snocross and professional football together.  Gear heads and leatherheads both love high energy sports, so we anticipate this to increase exposure and bring new fans to both.  Plus, what better team than the Green Bay Blizzard with their Yeti Mascot to join our world.  He should feel right at home in the snocross family!”
