Lake Nebagamon, Wisc. – March 29, 2015 – Judnick Motorsports is pleased to welcome Jake Angove to the team as our Pro Lite rider for the 2015-16 season.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jake and his father Steve join the team,” said Scott Judnick. We’ve had an eye on Jake since he finished second in the national Sport class in 2012 and were impressed again this season when he was on the podium in Duluth in his first ever Pro Lite race after having missed an entire season with a serious knee injury. Jake has shown that he is hungry to be a champion and will be a great teammate who can learn all aspects of the sport from our Pro Open rider Ross Martin.”

Angove, of Oconomowac, Wisconsin is 22 years old and began racing snocross in 2010. In addition he has raced motocross at the regional level since he was 8 years old. “I’m really excited about this opportunity,” said Angove. I’m used to racing out of a 14′ x 6′ trailer so it was pretty awesome to go to the Polaris factory race shop and get to tour the Judnick trailer. The biggest advantage will be working with Ross Martin and learning from him. I’ve learned a lot over the years by watching videos of Ross and he is someone I’ve always tried to ride like.”

Angove is expected to meet with Martin soon at his home in Burlington, Wisconsin, where the two can map out an off-season training strategy to begin working towards a successful campaign on the 2015-16 AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour.
