AMSOIL Championship Snocross Announces 2025–2026 Season Broadcast Team
AMSOIL Championship Snocross presented by Brunt is proud to announce its all-star broadcast and live-event announcing lineup for the 2025–2026 season. This year’s team brings together an elite mix of veteran voices, former athletes, and multimedia personalities—each carrying a deep passion for snowmobiling and motorsports.
Together, they will deliver a high-energy broadcast experience for Snocross fans.

Chris Hawkey brings unmatched energy, humor, and storytelling to the 2025–2026 Snocross broadcast team. A beloved entertainer across the Midwest, Hawkey is best known as the co-host and producer of The Power Trip Morning Show—one of the most successful and highly rated talk radio shows in the United States.
“My job is to make my friends laugh every morning,” says Hawkey. “It’s the best gig in the world.”
Beyond radio, Hawkey has spent more than 15 seasons as the producer of the Minnesota Vikings Radio Network for all road games, giving him a front-row seat to every stadium in the NFL. Off the air, he performs on stages nationwide as the singer of multiple bands including the Fabulous Armadillos, Rocket Club, and the Chris Hawkey Band, with 11 total album releases across his musical projects.
In 2025, Hawkey added public speaking to his resume, sharing his mental-health journey through his talk “Fighting the Darkness by Finding the Light.” When he’s not performing or broadcasting, he can be found riding his motorcycle, attending live music shows, reading, writing, and enjoying time with friends and family.

A lifelong figure in the snowmobile and motorsports community, Jeff Fischer adds a wealth of technical and historical knowledge to the 2025–2026 season lineup.
Fischer has been a fixture in the industry for decades—as the host of SledHead 24/7 since 2006, a former Watercross Champion, and a longtime powersports dealership veteran. He owns and operates his own performance shop and currently works as a crew chief and mechanic for the reigning Watercross champion.
Fischer’s racing background includes Snocross, Cross Country, Watercross, and earning his Pro Motocross license—making him one of the most well-rounded experts in the industry.

With more than 15 years immersed in the Snocross industry, Arica Alread returns for her fourth year behind the mic—bringing an experienced, trusted voice that resonates with racers and fans alike.
Alread’s announcing experience spans multiple elite motorsport disciplines, including EnduroCross, Arenacross, Off-Road, H1 Unlimited Hydroplane Racing, Watercross, the Red Bull Crandon World Cup, and Ultra4USA. Her connection to Snocross runs deep: her younger brother Carson competed professionally, igniting her passion for racing and motorsports journalism.

One of the most accomplished young women in snowmobiling, Taven Woodie enters the broadcast booth with nearly two decades of experience in the winter motorsports world—including 16 years competing in Snocross.
Woodie raced full-time in the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series for nine seasons. Her accolades include:
- Top-five in points as a rookie
- Youngest Pro Women’s rider to win a race
- 2018 Rookie of the Year (youngest and first female to earn the honor)
- Multiple-time runner-up in Pro AM Women points
- Winner of the inaugural AMSOIL Championship Snocross Impact Award (2023)
Since transitioning from professional racing, Woodie has become a rising broadcast personality, hosting the 2025 Ditchbanger National at ERX, the Midwest Snocross Series Arctic Shootout, ISOC Regionals, and various ERX Grassroots events.

The longest-tenured employee in Snocross, Rod Skorich has been part of the sport since day one. Over the years, he has held nearly every role—from flagging and staging to operations and event support—giving him unmatched knowledge of how races run.
Now serving as the daytime Snocross announcer, Rod brings decades of experience to every event. His deep understanding of the sport and his long-standing dedication make him one of the most trusted and familiar voices in Snocross.
A Broadcast Team Built for the Future
“We’re incredibly excited about this year’s broadcast lineup,” said Executive Producer, Joe Harewicz. “Each member brings a unique story, a huge passion for the sport, and a deep connection to the Snocross community. Fans are going to feel that energy every single weekend.”
