Winnipeg, Manitoba- December 10, 2013 – After a difficult season start, the boys at BOSS found their groove in Bessemer, Michigan. The second leg of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series kicked off under an extreme arctic blast of cold air, in Bessemer, Michigan at Blackjack Resort.

Friday was disappointing with both Petter Narsa and Darren Mees failing to make the final after 7th and 8th place finishes in the LCQ. BOSS’s host athlete Adam Renheim, #311 (Sweden)
posted the team’s Friday best with an 8th place finish in the final.

By Saturday the crew had had enough- with mechanics wrenching into the early morning hours the boys had a solid set-up and a restored focus. Both Narsa and Mees advanced to Saturday’s Pro Open main, with Renheim missing it by one slot in the LCQ. Narsa had a difficult start and was pushed to the back early in the race. The snow dust created near zero visibility, and Narsa found it difficult to pass. Mees on the other hand, had a solid start holding 4th place for 3/4 of the race. With dangerous windchills at hand, Mees lost feeling in his throttle hand, and dropped back to a respectable 6th overall.

The next stop on the ACSS National Tour will be the Traxxas Snocross presented by Jimmy John’s at famed Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN January 3-4th, 2014.
