The season opening race at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota is still a few days away, but the team already has a winner. On Thursday,
November 17, we travelled to Two Harbors, Minnesota where high school senior Dustin Cavallin was awarded our inaugural Race to the Future academic scholarship.
The team, along with Staff Sergeant Dave Overstreet, spent the afternoon interacting with a number of industrial technology
classes, touring the team transporter and discussing the similarities between technology used by our mechanics and the high-tech career opportunities in the U.S. Air Force.
The event was extremely well received by the school and students with a number of media outlets on hand to document the visit for local newspaper and television.
All of our riders have been able to put in several weeks of testing at our home facility and with the same team members and equipment returning, we are greatly looking forward to the first round of competition in Duluth.
