The final decision on the MN regional race being held this weekend has been decided. Per the National Race Director, Carl Schubitzke – An email was sent this morning to all our racers giving them options. Due to an overwhelming response, we will cancel the race and push the banquet back to a date that has yet to be determined. We wanted to end the year on a high note, but unfortunately many variables came into play. We are looking at having the banquet sometime late spring, so that we can talk to the racers and crews about what to expect for next year. We realize the MN regional series needs attention and we want to make changes for next year to show our commitment to the series and you, the racers. We appreciate you coming to race with us whether it is at a national event, affiliate event, or regional event. We want to show that appreciation by making changes for next year that will not only help all the racers and crew involved, but also the sport itself. Realistically without you and your families racing, we have nothing. Our regional series was once a strong part of our entire program and I would like to see it that way again. So for now, thank you very much for choosing to race with ISOC’s Minnesota regional series and I look forward to seeing you all at the banquet.
