ACSS’ highest-attended event of the 2010-’11 season is rescheduled from Saturday to Friday night on the indoor floor of one of country’s largest stadiums

Minneapolis – Nov. 7, 2011 – Officials at ISOC announced today that the date of the Michigan National at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich., round five of the 2011 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series, has been moved forward one day to Fri., Feb. 10th.

With a similar action motorsports event scheduled for the same night (Feb. 11th) about three miles from the Silverdome, ISOC and Silverdome officials felt that – while still four months out and with tickets yet to be put on sale – that it’d be in the best interest of snocross fans in the region to move the ACSS event to Fri., Feb. 10th.

“ISOC want to allow the motorsports-friendly Detroit area fan base the opportunity to witness two great events the weekend of February 10th,” said ISOC Director of Operations/Racing Director Carl Schubitzke. “That said, we’re confident that America’s only indoor pro/am snowmobile race and professional freestyle show – with tickets starting at just ten bucks – will be the greatest family value for the dollar going in Detroit that weekend.”
