About Ziegler Cat
With 19 facilities in Minnesota and Iowa, Ziegler represents the full line of CAT® heavy, compact, paving, forestry, and mining equipment, as well as Cat trucks, generators, and industrial engines. The company also represents Challenger ag equipment, RoGator and TerraGator application equipment, and LEXION combines in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
Wm. H. Ziegler founded the company in 1914, instilling employees with a simple yet lasting corporate philosophy: “Sell the best equipment, provide the best service.” This same philosophy holds true today. Ziegler currently employs over 1,400 people. Minnesota operations include headquarters in Minneapolis and locations in Brainerd, Buhl, Columbus, Crookston, Duluth, Fergus Falls, Jackson, Mankato, Marshall, Rochester, Shakopee, and St. Cloud. Iowa locations include the Altoona headquarters, Atlantic, Ft. Dodge, Mason City, Postville, and Sioux City.
Over the years, Ziegler has gone through immense changes and passed many milestones – horsepower to machine power, economic ups and downs, the beginning of the interstate freeway system, vast product-line expansions, and more. But the corporate philosophy has always remained the same – if the customer is successful, then Ziegler will be successful. Sell the best equipment and provide the best service.
