Eagle, ID (December 10, 2012) Jennifer Pare swept the Pro Women’s class going 1-1-1 during her qualifying rounds and main event to avenge a second place finish at the season opener two weeks ago. Using great starts and daring moves on the ultra-challenging Blackjack Ski Hill course in Bessemer, Michigan, Jenny topped Swedish rival Marica Renheim to take over the lead in the series standings.

Colby Crapo continues to earn respect in his rookie season as a competitor in the Pro Open class. After mixed results in qualifying, Crapo won the LCQ during each day and met the team goal of making the main event. During the night program, Crapo raced to 11th place finishes on both Friday and Saturday, just missing thetop 10 which is the next target on his progression chart.

Veteran Pro-Lite racer Andy Lieders was fast throughout qualifying with wins on both days, but ran into some issue with traffic during the finals. On both occassions, Lieders was running in the top five, when off-track excursions shuffled him back. Despite the personal disappointment, Lieder is still only seven points back from the class leader.

Much like his mentor Crapo, Trevor Leighton is continuing to meet team goals in his rookie season as a Pro-Lite racer. Leighton had solid qualifying runs on day one and advanced to the class final where he finished 13th. Trevor also had a second place finish on Saturday but just missed the cut into the LCQ.

Up next is the Traxxas Canterbury Park National in Shakopee, MN on January 4-5.
