As many of you already know, the Buffalo River Race Park, Glyndon, MN, regional scheduled for January 25-26, 2014, has been rescheduled. This race will now take place at ERX Motorpark in Elk, River, MN, on those dates. Rider check in on Friday night will be held at the Country Inn and Suites in Elk River (18894 Dodge St. NW). If you are in the area, please stop in and get checked in. ERX will also be holding practice on Friday the 24th from noon to 5 p.m.

After feedback from many on the last MN Regional event at ERX, the decision has been made to do a Friday/Saturday event (Feb 28-March1) with the MN Regional Year End banquet to take place Saturday night. Watch the website for banquet info in the next few weeks.

We will do one round and finals on Friday night (double points in the rounds) and a full race schedule on Saturday. A new schedule for that event is posted on our site. Download the new ERX Regional Schedule  ERX will also be holding practice on Friday February 28 from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m.

We are also changing a few classes. The Ditchbanger 1995 and Older class hasn’t seen much response, so we will be changing that class to Ditchbanger. This class will include any production consumer trail snowmobile, open displacement. No purpose built snocross race sleds allowed. This class aligns with the one offered at ERX on Thursday nights so spread the word.

We are also eliminating the Transition 8-12 class due to low entries. Instead we will be offering an Amateur Girls class. This will be ages 10-15 and will include sleds up to 60cc throttle block. This will include girls currently in the Transition, Jr. Novice and Jr. 14-15 class.

Both of these classes will be non-points for the remainder of this year and we will see how the response is and decide it’s future on next year’s class list.
