Princeton, Minn. (February 24, 2014) The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan played host to rounds 11 and 12 of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour and featured one of the largest track layouts to date with elevation changes, right and left hand corners and multiple racing lines.

On Friday night, Corin Todd went undefeated in the Pro Lite division, sweeping his qualifiers and winning his third main event in as many tour stops. The performance erased 17 points from the gap to the point leader and combined with Todd’s overall finishes from weekend, now has him sitting just 11 points out of the championship lead.

Trevor Leighton turned in his strongest and most consistent rides of the season, winning a heat race on Friday and finishing fourth in the main events on both nights. Saturday’s performance was especially impressive, as Leighton moved up through the field, passing the current point leader in the closing laps.

Rookie Zak Mason, who is still nursing his way back to 100% after a hard crash in January, turned in solid rides in qualifying and made his way to fifth in Saturday’s final. Mason currently sits just outside of the top five in points, with teammate Leighton right behind him in seventh.

This week the team will focus on prepping sleds and training for rounds 13 & 14 at the Buffalo River Race Park just outside of Fargo, North Dakota on March 7-8.
