Sauk Rapids, MN – Team Bauerly Racing is proud to announce that they will again pilot Ski-doo brand snowmobiles for the upcoming race season.  The team, who was awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award and the Privateer Team of the Year Award in past seasons, has also built up quite a resume as of late. This year marks the teams 13th season on the track; they have assembled a strong new group that is ready to pursue victory on the ACS Tour.

Marcus Johansson #227 will make the move from Östersund, Sweden to join the team full-time in the ultra competitive Pro-Lites Class. The accomplished young rider has won several Swedish Championship (SC) gold medals and placed in the top 10 at both the Clash of Nations and FIM World Championship events abroad.  He has also made his mark at the ISOC season opener in the Pro-Lites class over the past several seasons with a podium at last year’s Duluth event topping that list. “Racing a full season in the US has always been my dream; I am super pumped and look forward to working with the team. Once I get used to the new machine, I will accept nothing less than to be on the podium” – said Marcus.

Also new to the team this season will be Shane Sewell #219 who hails from Westville, IN.  Sewell may be a new name to the Snocross world, but on 2 wheels he has racked up quite a resume. An AMA Arenacross Lites Championship, an 8th at the Daytona Supercross, a 13th overall in SX Lites points, several top 15 National MX 450 Outdoor finishes, and most recently the 2014 High Point RC Hard Charger award to name a few.  “I grew up riding sleds with my dad and have always been a big fan of the sport; I think I watched every race at least 5 times last season.  I had a blast on the AMSOIL team test track a few times last season and am more than ready to give it my all in the Pro-Lites Class” – Stated Sewell.

Chase Rosemeyer #675 from Chippewa Falls, WI will return to complete the Pro Lite roster for the team this season.  Chase has consistently been a contender on the National Tour with a win and several podium finishes to prove it; look for a strong showing out of him.  Kurt Bauerly #318 will compete in the Pro Plus 30 Class on the ACS National Tour where he has left his mark in recent years with numerous wins and a long list of podium finishes.  “We’re excited about the diverse levels of experience of the team we have assembled for the coming season; this group has us positioned to do great things. Our experienced crew and the many great sponsors that help make this all work are the key foundation to our success.  Everyone on the team is focused on the mission of getting on the podium; the new sled and program that Ski-doo has assembled will help us accomplish just that.” – Chad and Paul Bauerly.
