Divas SnowGear (DSG) recently announced the launch of a new and exciting ambassador program geared towards getting women more involved in the sport of snowmobiling. Whether it is through competitive racing, back country riding, or shredding the mountains, the 37 ambassadors chosen have committed to stand behind the DSG mission through their dedication to the sport. Via rigorous testing and feedback, DSG is stepping outside of the box to ensure that they provide the very best in women’s functional outerwear–no matter the riding style.
In what has always been a male dominated sport, women are becoming increasingly more involved and competitive; however, few lines of outerwear can withstand the high expectations of fit, style, function and comfort while riding. As a 2014 DSG Ambassador and mother of three youth ISOC racers, Heather Poker of Poker Team Racing can attest to that. After eight months of off season training, Poker Team Racing is well prepared for the four months they fondly refer to as “SnoX Season!” That being said, with three racers in various classes, Heather will be trackside and will need to withstand Mother Nature’s best at all costs. With a lot to factor in on race day, outwear should not get in the way and with DSG Mother Nature will be the least of her concerns! Heather is confident she’ll look great and stay warm – all while enjoying the fit and functionality she demands. This will allow her to achieve what’s most important – supporting her family and friends in a sport that brings people together and exemplifies what true sportsmanship is all about. In addition to this honor, Divas SnowGear is also excited to announce the sponsorship of the newest member of Poker Team Racing, Taytum Poker, #210! Recognizing that girls of all ages need to be given the opportunity to participate in a sport that has so much potential, Divas is supporting Taytum as she makes her debut in the 120 Stock 4-5 year old class in both the Regional ISOC circuit and the Great Northern SnoX Series. Following in the footsteps of her brothers Tyler (#410) and Peyton (#310), the reigning National Champion in the 120 Stock class, she can’t wait to jump on and give that throttle a ride. “We couldn’t be more excited to have Heather as part of our elite group of ambassadors, and to add our newest Lil Diva, Taytum, to our team of sponsored athletes,” said Wendy Gavinski, President and Founder of Divas SnowGear.
