MINNEAPOLIS (Dec. 30, 2014) – The recognized global leader in hydraulic equipment hose repair – PIRTEK – is on board with AMSOIL Championship Snocross, powered by Ram, as the new title sponsor for the Jan. 9-10 PIRTEK Snocross National, presented by Jimmy John’s, at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn.
A partner for the Hentges/Polaris Racing team, PIRTEK aligned itself with ISOC and AMSOIL Championship Snocross through its efforts in keeping the heavily-taxed hydraulic systems on ISOC’s track groomers in working order throughout the competition season.
“I can’t begin to explain the importance of keeping our track groomers running. If they go down we’re, pardon the pun, hosed,” said ISOC President and Race Director Carl Schubitzke. “PIRTEK stepped in and helped us on-site at each and every AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour stop, being instrumental in the success of the events.”
So when the title sponsorship for the Canterbury round opened up, Schubitzke’s first call was to partner PIRTEK’s Craig Heitkamp.
“It was such a perfect fit for PIRTEK to get on board in a sponsorship capacity with AMSOIL Championship Snocross,” said Heitkamp. “The demographics line up perfectly. These are our guys. Fans of snocross are hands-on, DIY types that are already well aware of PIRTEK’s national network of Hose Service Centers. So when Carl called us to discuss the title sponsorship of the Canterbury round, it all just made sense.”
Fans attending the Canterbury round will be able to see – firsthand – the services PIRTEK offers through their display on the manufacturer’s midway (indoors on the ground floor of Canterbury Park’s main building). For more information on PIRTEK, link to www.pirtekusa.com
