St. Cloud, MN (2/12/15) Warnert Racing had an up and down weekend at the Seneca Allegany’s Airforce National in Salamanca, NY.

On Friday, John Stenberg had a couple difficult rounds of qualifying. Stenberg had to run the LCQ race on Friday night. During the LCQ race he got into a wreck and unfortunately didn’t qualify for the final. On Saturday, Stenberg was still a little sore from the night before. Instead of risking an injury, Stenberg spectated on Saturday and is focusing on preparing for Chicago.

Elias Ishoel also experienced some bad luck on Friday night. During his qualifiers, he went 2-4 to go straight to the final. While charging to the front during the final, track officials disqualified Ishoel for passing under a yellow. On Saturday, Ishoel got two 2nds during qualifying, making him a top qualifier for the final. Ishoel pushed hard through the field and rode his NSK, Makita, GMC powered Ski-Doo to third on the podium.

Warnert Racing will be heading to Chicago next for the Hollywood Casino Snocross National Presented by Hayes Brakes.
