Shakopee, Minn. (March 15, 2015) –Hentges Racing has ended the 2014-‘15 AMSOIL Championship Snocross (ACS) season with four podium finishes from the three day Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisc., and two top ten finishes in the Pro Open point standings.

Kody Kamm returned to the circuit on his Monster Energy / AMSOIL / Polaris for the final rounds and left with two back-to-back second place finishes and one third place finish.

“I wanted to come back completely strong and healthy. Lake Geneva is a home race for me and I do well at this track. The track was super tough but I had great starts and was able to win a lot of races. As a team we’ve had the best weekend so far this year here,” said Kamm.

Teammate Justin Broberg rode his Pirtek / FXR Racing / Polaris onto the podium for the first time this season – placing third in Saturday night’s final. Broberg was a strong contender all weekend winning several qualifying rounds.

“Everything really came together this weekend and it resulted with a podium finish. This track was long and good starts were key. I pulled holeshots and took some wins in qualifying. It was the perfect way to end a rough season and I’m really happy, ” said Broberg.

Broberg moved up two positions in the Pro Open point standings, finishing in sixth, after a successful weekend. After missing several rounds due to injury, Kamm finishes ninth in the point standings.

“We ended this season the strongest we have been,” said Nate Hentges, Hentges Racing team owner. “Kody and Justin rode awesome. They each have had to battle a lot this season with injury and mechanical issues but we came out on top. This is a great showing of what is to come next season.”
