MotoTrax signs on as sponsor of Snowbike class at ECS Conx2share Series, Presented by Woody’s Traction and FXR

CLARKSBURG, Mass. (Nov. 17, 2016) – One of the nation’s top manufacturers of Snowbike conversion kits will take center stage in 2017, as officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) announce a new partnership with MotoTrax.

Based in the snow country of Idaho, MotoTrax will become the new title sponsor for Snowbike competition during each ECS race weekend. The class was created last winter to allow motocross riders a chance to race during the winter utilizing today’s highly-advanced snowbike conversion systems.

“We’re very delighted to have MotoTrax join our family of valued marketing partners,” series owner Kurt Gagne said. “Interest in this class is starting to grow, and having the support of this strong company lends further credibility to what we’re doing. I hope bike owners who are considering a snow conversion kit for their bikes will choose MotoTrax. We’re proud to have them on board.”

MotoTrax snow bike kits are the most responsive kits available on the market. The MotoTrax kit is the first and only snow conversion kit that boasts a fully pivoting skid, which allows riders to ride their bikes in the same manner they do in the summer.

The MotoTrax Enduro kit comes with a single shock, rising-rate suspension design and single swing arm so there are fewer hard landings. Convenience is also built into all MotoTrax kits, with features that include automatic track tensioners and easy chain adjustments.

“MotoTrax identified ECS as the premier race series in the eastern United States,” marketing and public relations director Jacob Stevens said. “We’ve partnered with series promoters and organizers to introduce snow biking to more riders and to help grow the sport.

“Our MotoLink rising rate suspension and fully pivoting skid have set a new industry standard for performance and maneuverability. We didn’t simply modify a snowmobile suspension to work on a dirt bike, we introduced a totally new skid design unlike anything ever used before.

“MotoTrax has taken the market by storm by distinguishing itself as the undisputed industry leader in snow bike innovation and design. We pride ourselves on being the only manufacturer to design a snow bike from the ground up to perform and handle like a dirt bike.”

East Coast Snocross will kick off the 26th consecutive season for sanctioned snocross here in New England in January. The sport has changed with the times, as have the sleds on which athletes compete. Today’s factory race sleds from Arctic Cat, Polaris and Ski-doo are purpose-built to withstand the abuse a snocross track creates. Together, the athletes and sleds create true winter poetry in motion.

The East Coast Snocross Conx2share Series, presented by Woody’s Traction and FXR, is an ISR-affiliated sanctioning body for snowmobile racing in the northeastern United States. ECS maintains a regional circuit intended to keep grass-roots snocross racing healthy in this part of the country, while also cultivating new talent for tomorrow’s factory-backed national Pro teams.
