As this edition of Sunday Night Snocross is being written from Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant Michigan, AMSOIL Championship Snocross Powered by RAM returns here once again after being in Salamanca New York just days prior. The racing at the US Air Force Snocross National was will of excitement and with record crowds both days, it set up to an epic weekend at Rounds 9 & 10. Friday kicked off with Anson Scheele and Evan Christian exchanging victories in the Junior classes and Sophia Hulsey continuing her dominance in the Juniors Girls division. When the sun set over Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino all eyes were on the reigning Pro champion Kody Kamm. Kamm would take advantage of Tuckers Hibberts misfortune and earn his second win of the season. Daniel Benham earned his fifth main event holeshot of the season and ran away to victory, leading the entire Pro Lite final flag-to-flag. Saturday was just as exciting for the fans as they were fortunate enough to witness East Coast Snocross all afternoon long. The western New York motorsport enthusiasts were treated with some of the best racing of the year. Daniel Benham would once again win the Pro Lite final extending his win streak to three. With the final for the Pro class taking place in the midst of a snow shower, Kody Kamm would execute his race perfectly as he would lead the race from start to finish sweeping the weekend in New York. Tucker Hibbert would elect to start his race from the back row and pass 13 fellow competitors on his way to a second place finish. With the rivalry between Kamm and Hibbert heating up & the points championships tightening, the racers are teams will meet up again this weekend at the Soaring Eagle Snocross National. This event is one you are not going to want to miss, but before then, make sure to check out the podium finishers from New York down below.
