For Immediate ReleaseFinley, ND (December 2, 2019) – Evan Christian made a quick statement to open the 2020 national snocross season in Duluth, Minnesota. Christian let the competition know that he intends to be a force in the Sport class championship, finishing 2-1 in his qualifying rounds and racing to a second place podium finish in the main event.

Christian was off to another great start as day two began to unfold. After an opening heat win and third place in qualifier number two, Evan was locked into the front row for the final when Mother Nature decided to take over. Gail force winds and over two feet of snow blew in off of Lake Superior, forcing the cancellation of Saturday’s main event and all of Sunday’s program.

The round two Sport class final will be made up at a date to be announced, along with rounds one and two of the Pro Lite class for team rider Jay Lura. Lura took part in Friday’s head-to-head Dominator qualifying and was in line for his first practice on Saturday when the event was cancelled.

Up next is a hometown race of sorts, at the Buffalo River Race Park, just outside of Fargo, North Dakota. With plenty of snow now covering much of North Dakota and Minnesota, the team is looking forward to the next 30 days of racing with events on each side of the holidays.
