Longville, MN (January 7, 2020) – Swinging into the new year, 2020 has been noted to be the year of clear vision, fresh beginnings, expecting, hoping, wishing, doing and becoming. For Team LaVallee, the determination, hard work, grit, and overall passion has been there but the results lately have yet to follow … well, until now. Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota was the home to Rounds 5 and 6 as well as make-up Round 2 from the cancelled Duluth, MN National held back in November. Shakopee has been known as the Daytona for Snocross race tracks with the course design bringing huge air and technical rhythm sections. Massive crows packed the stands for the 3-Day National and dedicated fans helped Team LaVallee celebrate the impressive 5 podium finishes throughout the weekend.
PRO / PALLIN
Kyle Pallin started out the 3 Day race weekend under the lights with Round 5 qualifying. Pallin earned two 3rd place finishes in his rounds and was looking for the same results in the Round 5 Final. Off of the line, Pallin was riding awesome until an unfortunate off caused him to fall back and finish in the 12th place spot on Friday night.
For Saturday, Pallin was eager for redemption. In his qualifying rounds, he finished within the top 5 spots, allowing him to have a great pick on the line for the inverted start for the Round 6 Final. For the final race of the night, Pallin came out of the gate strong and rode smart and smooth, and earned his first podium of the season with an exciting 2nd place!
On Sunday, Round 2 – Duluth Makeup Race, Pallin was riding super strong, consistent, and had great qualifying rounds with a 3rd and 1st place finish. For the Round 2 Final, Pallin had a top 5 start and was able to make his way up throughout the 16 lap final and finish out the weekend with another impressive 2nd place finish! Congrats to Pallin for a double podium weekend!
Pallin is currently sitting in 7th place overall in the Pro Points Standings.
PRO LITE / BESTER
Pro Lite Rider, Ryley Bester had another consistent weekend of racing. Bester had good qualifying rounds Friday allowing him into the back row of the Round 5 Pro Lite final, however a hard off caused Bester to finished that race in the 15th place position. With tough qualifying Saturday, Bester just missed the Round 6 Final but on Sunday, Bester redeemed himself ending the race weekend strong with a 5th overall finish for Round 2 on Sunday afternoon. Bester is currently sitting in 8th place overall in the Pro Lite Points Standings.
PRO LITE / DAUDT
Pro Lite Rider, Evan Daudt had an awesome weekend of racing. With wonderful qualifying throughout the weekend, he was able to make it into all of his Pro Lite finals. To start the weekend out in Round 5 of racing, Daudt’s Polaris snowmobile was ripping off of the line and after charging hard for 12 laps of the Pro Lite Round 5 Final, Daudt landed on the box Friday night in an exciting 3rd place finish! For Saturday, Round 6 – Daudt finished in the 8th place spot and rounded out the weekend of awesome racing with a notable 6th place finish on Sunday. Daudt is currently sitting in 5th place overall in the Pro Lite Points Standings.
PRO AM PLUS 30 / LIEDERS
Pro AM Plus 30 Rider, Andy Lieders had a phenomenal weekend of racing. Landing on the Podium with a 2nd place Finish for Round 5 on Friday and an excellent 1st Place Finish on Saturday, Round 6. Congrats Andy on another great weekend of racing! Lieders is currently sitting in 2nd place overall in the Pro AM PLUS 30 Points Standings.
