Shakopee, MN (3/14/22) – Hentges Racing enters the last four rounds of the national snocross season in a tight Pro points race to break into the top three. Kody Kamm is currently in 6th, but finishing the year in the top three is in sight for the fan-favorite Polaris racer.
The Minnesota crowds were treated to one of the best high-flying tracks of the season at ERX Motor Park in Elk River. The snow was in abundance to form a track design reminiscent of an extreme sports layout. The big kicker jumps on the front stretch were jaw-dropping as racers soared to new heights, while the size of the back rhythm section jumps, and timing needed to navigate them, was mind-boggling.
Much like the big track in Fargo, both Hentges Racing Pros, Kamm and Norum, looked impressive aboard their Polaris 600R’s running smooth and fast on the track, but neither reached the podium.
Hentges Racing team owner, Nate Hentges said, “The enormity of the Elk River track size and jumps were at the opposite end of the spectrum from the small bullring in South Dakota. We looked forward to racing on a big track, and did everything right, but so did our competition. It was a tough, hard fought race. Kody and Oskar remain healthy, and we’ll give it everything we have in the remaining four rounds to break into that top three.”
The Hentges Racing team heads to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin on March 18-20, 2022.
