Finley, ND (March 5, 2024) – Oskar Norum just missed stepping on the Pro podium at round 10 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota after going 3-3-5 in triple crown action. With finishes tightly grouped among the front-runners, Norum’s 11 point total landed him in fourth overall.
With no natural snow on the ground and temps in the low 60’s, track conditions deteriorated quickly throughout the weekend and Saturday’s racing became a matter of survival. Norum would post results of 10-12-9 for 11th overall at round 11.

We’ve been struggling with clutching. I’m coming from another team and was out all of last year and with the weather we haven’t been able to do any testing. Coming to race you’re not 100% sure. We have had to do a lot of testing on race days.
I think we’ve found something and we are going to ERX to test for two days so that should be good. And now we are going to Lake Geneva. I like that track, it’s the coolest venue, I believe.
Evan Christian was not satisfied with his results from the weekend but when it was all said and done he was one of the biggest movers at the top of the Pro Lite standings.
A crash off the start of his first heat race on Friday night set the tone for the evening where he would have to go through the last chance qualifier and start on the back row of the final. Fortunately, the same misfortune fell on many of the title contenders and Christian outpaced all of them with an 11th place in the final.
On Saturday, Evan posted heat race scores of 1-2 to earn the top qualifier spot in the main event where he finished 6th. The weekend total pushed Evan up one spot to third in the standings and he is now just six points out of second place.
The national tour will resume on March 15-16 and an old favorite, the Grand Geneva Resort and Ski Hill in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
