SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The second day of AMSOIL Championship Snocross action at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino brought high-intensity battles, edge-of-your-seat racing, and the chance for riders to sweep the weekend. With a fast, technical track that demanded both precision and endurance, racers left nothing on the table as the second half of the season officially got underway. From dominant performances to last-lap heroics, the championship picture is coming into sharper focus.

As the gate dropped on Saturday, bar-to-bar action defined the day, with riders pushing their limits on the demanding layout. Some sought redemption after Friday’s results, while others aimed to maintain their momentum and secure back-to-back wins. With the season heading into its crucial stretch, every point, every pass, and every podium finish is becoming more critical in the chase for championship glory.

Harr Holds Strong for AMSOIL Pro Triple Crown Overall in Salamanca

Friday night’s AMSOIL Pro Triple Crown final delivered an intense battle between defending champion Emil Harr and Jordan Lebel, but Saturday’s action reshuffled the deck, introducing new names into the mix. Adam Peterson, Ryley Bester, and Daniel Benham made their presence known, challenging the front-runners and adding more fire to the championship chase. Despite the added competition, Harr once again proved why he remains the points leader, using consistency and smart racecraft to secure the overall win.

The night opened with a breakout performance from Peterson, who went bar to bar with Jacob Yurk before taking control and crossing the line first in round one. However, he was later docked three positions for jumping on a yellow flag, handing the win to Harr. Lebel was able to move up to second, while Peterson was officially scored fourth, allowing Harr to pick up valuable points. In round two, Harr reestablished his authority, taking the holeshot and leading wire to wire for the win. Bester delivered a strong second-place finish, while Benham powered through from eighth to claim third. Lebel, unable to find his rhythm, settled for sixth.

In the final round, Harr had to fight his way through the field after starting seventh. As the race unfolded, Lebel made a series of power moves to take the lead and claim the win. Meanwhile, Harr wasted no time carving his way forward, riding with a championship-focused mindset to secure second place. Despite the challenge of starting deep in the pack, his 1-1-2 scores were enough to take the overall victory.

“I knew there was one thing I couldn’t do, and that was mess it up,” said Harr about the third round. “I did it, but I was able to charge back up to first. I was exhausted. It was a rough day for me, and I didn’t want to challenge him too hard. It was a good day, and it means a lot to me to have a 1-1 here in New York.”

Lebel’s 2-6-1 finish earned him second overall, while Benham’s steady effort, going 6-3-4, held off Bester (9-2-3) and secured his first overall podium of the season.

With his weekend sweep, Harr extended his championship lead to 30 points over Lebel, giving him a solid cushion as the season enters its critical stretch. Peterson’s strong performances in New York helped him climb into third overall, now sitting just one point ahead of Yurk. Meanwhile, five-time champion Elias Ishoel, who continued to take starts but has yet to race at full strength for the second straight weekend, still holds onto fifth place in the standings, trailing Yurk by just a single point.

Scheele Controls Pro Lite Final, Extends Championship Lead

Anson Scheele made a statement on Saturday, seizing control of the Pro Lite final from the start and never looking back. Nailing the holeshot, Scheele quickly pulled away from the field, riding a flawless race to secure the win and back up his runner-up finish from Friday. With the victory, he leaves New York with a 16-point lead in the championship standings, setting up a fierce battle with defending champion Crayden Dillon for the remainder of the season.

“We’ve been working so hard the past couple of weeks and things just started clicking today,” said Scheele. “We didn’t have the best heat race to start the day and I knew I just had to dig deep the rest of the night. We were able to get it done.”

While Scheele was untouchable out front, the fight for the podium provided plenty of action. Topi Posti held firm in second for much of the race, but Emil Mikalsen found his speed late, making a decisive pass with three laps to go to claim the runner-up spot—his first podium finish since round three. Posti settled for third, earning his first podium of the season.

Meanwhile, Dillon struggled off the start and couldn’t recover, finishing sixth as the championship race tightened heading into the final stretch of the season.

Cottew Rallies Late to Steal Pro AM Women’s Victory

For most of the Bikeman Performance Pro AM Women’s final, it looked like Cerissa Blessum was on her way to a breakthrough victory. Grabbing the holeshot, Blessum rode a flawless race up front, keeping her lines clean and holding off heavy pressure from defending champion Malene Cottew.

Meanwhile, Friday’s runner-up Inanna Hauger stayed close behind, ready to capitalize on any mistake. As the laps wound down, Cottew searched for faster lines, working to keep pace while also fending off Hauger’s advances. With just two laps to go, Cottew finally found her opportunity, making a decisive move to take the lead and never looking back.

“The start was very messy for me, and I told myself to just figure my lines out,” said Cottew. “I sent it a little hard here and there, but I was able to put it together.”

The battle for second came down to the wire as Blessum and Hauger drag-raced to the finish, with Blessum narrowly holding on for the runner-up spot. Hauger settled for third, rounding out the podium after an intense, hard-fought final. Cottew’s late-race heroics secured her second win of the weekend as she continues to prove why she remains the rider to beat in the Pro AM Women’s division.

Late Charge Pushes Lieders Past Todd in Pro AM Plus 30

Andy Lieders’ winning streak remained intact, but not without a fight, as Corin Todd brought the heat in Saturday’s Thomas Sno Sport Pro AM Plus 30 final. Todd, making his return to racing this weekend, grabbed the early lead and kept points leader Lieders behind him for the first half of the race. But as the laps ticked down, Lieders found his opening, making a decisive power move through traffic with three laps to go to take control of the race.

Once out front, Lieders was able to break free, stretching his lead and locking in his seventh consecutive victory. Todd capped off his first weekend back with an impressive second-place finish, proving he hasn’t lost his speed. Meanwhile, round one winner Brian Peterson put together a strong ride after starting sixth, charging his way onto the podium in third to round out the top three.

Lebel Sweeps FXR Sport

Dylan Lebel proved once again why he’s the FXR Sport points leader, handling the rough and deep track with precision to complete the weekend sweep on Saturday. With another wire-to-wire performance, Lebel extended his championship lead, showing confidence and control as the season enters its critical second half. His ability to navigate the ever-changing conditions made the difference, as he stayed smooth and steady to secure his fourth win of the season.

Behind him, the battle for the podium was intense, with Zak Farmer and Kenny Goike locked in a bar-to-bar fight through the middle of the race. Farmer, who started from the back row in seventh, charged through the field to claim second place with an impressive comeback ride. Goike, meanwhile, held his ground to earn his first podium finish in the class.

Skogquist Breaks Through with Sport Lite Victory

AJ Skogquist, sitting second in the Pflipsen Trucking Sport Lite standings, finally reached the top step of the podium with a commanding wire-to-wire victory on Saturday. After knocking on the door all season, Skogquist put together a flawless ride to secure his first win of the year.

Friday’s winner, Colin Taggart, had to work his way forward from a sixth-place start, eventually finishing second after making steady progress through the field. Meanwhile, Jimmy Stanisich made an impressive charge from the back row, slicing through traffic and moving into third with three laps to go. He closed in on Taggart but ran out of time, finishing just 0.18 seconds behind in an exciting dash to the line.

Rox Speed FX Stock 200:  Lincoln Skar was unstoppable in the Stock 200 class, going wire to wire on Saturday to complete the weekend sweep. Tessa Naastad kept the pressure on until the very end, finishing just 0.8 seconds behind in a thrilling chase to the checkered flag. Beckem Pudwill rounded out the podium in third, earning his third podium finish of the season with another solid performance.

1911 Beef Transition 9-13: In just his second race of the season, Tommy Roy made an immediate impact, claiming victory in the Transition 9-13 final with a dramatic last-lap pass. After making his season debut on Friday, Roy wasted no time finding the top step of the podium on Saturday. Points leader Ryder Hayes put in a strong ride to finish second, making a key move around John Thieke, who secured his third podium of the season with a third-place finish.

Hayward Power Sports Junior 14-15: Points leader Tavin Knudson delivered another dominant performance in the Junior 14-15 final, going wire to wire for his fifth victory of the season. Cody Moras continued his strong form, securing his third podium of the year with a solid second-place finish. The battle for third came down to the wire, as Gavin Brault edged out Friday night winner Carter vanHorsigh by just 0.19 seconds to claim the final podium spot in a thrilling finish.

SPEEDWERX Transition 8-10: Points leader Travis Bellerive added to his impressive season with a hard-fought victory in the Transition 8-10 final, charging from a sixth-place start to claim his sixth win of the year. Friday night winner Jack Gelinas kept the pressure on but settled for second, maintaining his strong podium streak. Meanwhile, round one winner Noah Kuhn secured his second podium of the season with a third-place finish, narrowly holding off Bernice Thieke by just 0.15 of a second in a thrilling dash to the line.

ROX Speed FX 120 Champ: Henry Dillon was in complete control in the 120 Champ final, taking the lead on lap two and never looking back on his way to his fourth victory of the season. Behind him, Gobrik Geyen put together his best performance of the year, securing a strong second-place finish. Deegan Giguere made his way back onto the podium, crossing the line in third to cap off a solid night of racing.

Woodies Racing Junior Girls 9-13: Avery Hemmer continued her winning ways, completing the weekend sweep in the Junior Girls 9-13 final. Starting third, she wasted little time finding her way to the front, taking advantage of clean air just two laps in. Eleanor Schmidt led the opening laps before securing another strong runner-up finish, keeping her podium streak alive. Bernice Thieke joined the podium for the first time this season, crossing the line in third to cap off a competitive race.

Pete Transport Junior 10-13: Tommy Roy made an immediate impact in his Junior 10-13 class debut on Saturday, taking the win in his lone race of the division. Fresh off his season debut the night before, Roy backed it up with another victory, taking over the lead from Colden Harnois after two laps. Harnois secured his first podium with a strong runner-up finish, while Ryder Hayes’ third-place result was enough to move him into the points lead as the season pushes forward.
