The roar of high-powered snowmobiles, the intensity of bar-to-bar battles and the spectacle of the world’s best snowmobile athletes launching across massive jumps will return this winter as AMSOIL Championship Snocross presented by Brunt Workwear opens its 2026–2027 season.

The national tour will feature eight event weekends across the United States and Canada, with two days of racing scheduled at each stop. The schedule combines legendary venues, premier winter destinations and the highly anticipated addition of the RK Compound Snocross National in Hartford, Wisconsin.

The next generation set the pace last winter. Crayden Dillon completed a breakout season by securing the Pro championship over fellow young standout Jordan Lebel, signaling the arrival of a new era at the front of the field.

But the established stars are ready to answer.

Two-time champion Emil Harr enters the new season healthy and determined to reclaim his place at the top. Reigning Pro Lite champion Cameron Cole will also join the Pro ranks, adding another proven winner to an already deep field. With Dillon defending his title, Lebel looking for retribution, Harr back at full strength and Cole ready for his premier-class debut, fireworks are expected from the opening green flag.

The championship begins under the lights at one of the most demanding venues on the national tour.

Built into the natural elevation of Mt. Zion, the Ironwood track features steep climbs, dramatic descents and massive airborne moments. The opening weekend provides the first opportunity to see new teams, new equipment and championship contenders competing at full speed.

Ironwood will immediately test every athlete’s preparation, confidence and raw speed while setting the tone for the championship chase ahead.

Known as the “Daytona of Snocross,” Canterbury Park delivers one of the biggest stages and most electric atmospheres of the season.

A wide starting line sends a full field charging toward the opening turn before athletes attack towering jumps and sweeping sections built inside the horse-racing facility. Packed grandstands, indoor viewing areas and an expansive expo make Shakopee one of the must-see events in snowmobile racing.

The lights, the crowd and the size of the track consistently bring out the best in the sports biggest stars.

There is nowhere to hide inside Deadwood’s legendary Bull Ring. 

The tight and unforgiving layout forces athletes into close quarters, where quick decisions, aggressive passing and precise snowmobile control are essential. Contact is always a possibility, positions change quickly and mistakes are magnified.

Surrounded by the Black Hills and the history of downtown Deadwood, the event combines a memorable winter destination with some of the most physical and unpredictable racing on the national tour.

The Grand Prix de Valcourt is one of snowmobile racing’s most prestigious international events.

The three-day event weekend will feature two days of international Snocross racing, bringing elite snowmobile athletes from across North America to compete in front of Valcourt’s passionate Canadian fans. The high-speed course, festival atmosphere and deep connection to snowmobile history make it a defining stop on the national tour.

It is more than another race weekend. It is an international celebration of snowmobile competition, and an event every athlete wants to win.

The championship returns to western New York for two days of racing at the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.

Salamanca has quickly established itself as a venue capable of producing unpredictable weather, changing snow conditions and intense competition. Athletes must adapt throughout the weekend as the racing surface develops and new lines emerge.

The biggest addition to the 2026–2027 schedule brings AMSOIL Championship Snocross to one of the Midwest’s premier snowmobile racing facilities.

Located northwest of Milwaukee, the RK Compound has become a proven training ground for many of the sport’s leading athletes and race teams. Its purpose-built track, extensive snowmaking capabilities and passionate grassroots following make it an ideal addition to the national tour.

The athletes know the facility, the fans understand the sport and the track is built to deliver big air, multiple racing lines and relentless bar-to-bar action. The inaugural RK Compound Snocross National has all the ingredients to become an immediate fan favorite and one of the most anticipated weekends of the season.

ERX Motor Park offers the space and terrain needed to create one of the largest and most dynamic tracks on the national tour.

Long rhythm sections, multiple racing lines and massive jumps allow snowmobile athletes to showcase the speed, strength and precision required to compete at the sport’s highest level. The expansive layout encourages passing and regularly produces races that remain undecided until the closing laps.

Positioned late in the schedule, ERX will provide championship contenders with one of their final opportunities to make a major move before the season finale.

The season concludes where the modern era of Snocross began.

The three-day championship weekend will include two days of national racing on Spirit Mountain’s demanding hillside course. Its natural elevation and commanding views of Lake Superior create a spectacular setting for the finale, while the technical layout pushes snowmobile athletes and their equipment to the limit.

After a full winter of competition, the 2026–2027 national champions will be crowned in Duluth during a celebration of the sport’s history, its athletes and its future.
