December 31, 2014 (St. Cloud, MN) As 2014 fades away, 2015 is full of promise and excitement for Warnert Racing. With fresh riders and fresh sponsors, the team has never looked better.

At the end of 2014, Warnert Racing introduced a number of new sponsors including Makita Industrial Powertools and GMC Trucks. Partnering with these two powerhouse companies only made sense.

“As everyone knows, we’re with Ski-Doo, a leader in the industry…same thing with Makita,” said co-team owner Mark Warnert earlier this season upon introducing the new partnerships.

In addition to powerhouse sponsorships, the racers are nothing short of powerhouses themselves. John Stenberg, a rookie to the Pro Open class, has been setting the bar high for the other rookies. With impressive finishes in both heat races and finals, John Stenberg is on track for a successful season.

Elias Ishoel, rookie in the Pro Lite class, has been baffling the competition with his hard charging riding style. Initially scheduled to race only Duluth and Fargo, Ishoel has signed on for the rest of the season with Warnert Racing. He goes into the new year with two wins under his belt already. With a one point lead over Leighton Motorsports rider Zak Mason, the competition will be heating up in Canterbury.

Johan Lidman, who was injured last year at the Fargo National, is still working to heal up for the season. He is working hard to get back to 100% and stay at that level. His recovery is anxiously awaited for at Warnert Racing.

“The season is starting off strong, but we’ve got a lot left to go. As long as we keep our focus, things can only get better!” commented Crew Chief Ryan Duncan.
