WITTWER CONTINUES HIS WINNING STREAK

Shakopee, MN (January 9 – 11, 2015). Canterbury Park was host to round 5 and 6 of the ISOC National Snocross Series. Friday started with Wittwer getting a good hole shot in Amateur and running in 2nd place until he made a last lap pass for 1st only to get taken out in the 2nd to the last corner causing him to finish 5th. Wittwer came back winning the 2nd round which gave him a front row starting spot for the final where he finished on the podium in 2nd place. In the Sport class Wittwer went 6-8 in his qualifying rounds working on consistency and finding the speed he showed in Fargo, ND.

With some minor changes for day 2 of National racing Wittwer finished 1st and 3rd in his Amatuer heats and went on to win the final making it his 4th national win for the season.

In the afternoon Sport class Wittwer again proved he has what it takes to run up front as he won one of the qualifying rounds building his confidence going into the next national in Deadwood, SD.

With cold weather moving in and a shortened track for Regional racing on Sunday, Speedwerx/Arctic Cat rider Wittwer knowing he had his sled dialed swept the Amateur and Sport finals. Bringing the weekend to a successful ending Wittwer was very happy with his 4 podium finishes and what he had accomplished.

Next up will be round 7 and 8 of Regional racing at Quadna Mountain Park in Hill City, MN January 24-25, 2015.
