December 8, 2015, La Mirada, CA – Makita® Power Tools, the Official Power Tool Sponsor of the International Series of Champions (ISOC) Snocross Racing, is presenting two days of racing at the Makita Snocross National, December 11-12 in Fargo, North Dakota.
Makita’s Race Sponsorship is part of an expanded presence in the world of snocross. As the Official Power Tool of ISOC, Makita Tools will be in the hands of ISOC staff as they build and maintain race venues – often in extremely cold temperatures. Makita will also be integrated into all races on the 2015-16 schedule.

New Sweepstakes Built for Snocross Fans
This weekend’s Makita Snocross National will mark the launch of a new sweepstakes for snocross fans. The Makita Ski-Doo® Snocross Sweepstakes (#MakitaSkiDoo) will award one lucky winner with an exclusive Makita Edition 2016 Ski-Doo MXZ Sport 600 Carb Snowmobile.
“Makita tools are used on BRP assembly lines, and this sweepstakes further strengthens the alliance between BRP and Makita,” said Paul Prudhomme, product manager, BRP. “The Makita Edition Ski-Doo will be on display at the races this season, so we look forward to meeting the fans and encouraging them to enter for a chance to win this amazing sled.”
To enter for a chance to win what Ski-Doo calls “the ultimate trail riding machine”, snocross fans can head to the Makita Ski-Doo XPS Factory Support Rig which will be on-site on race days throughout the 2015-16 season. Fans can also enter on Facebook @MakitaTools. The on-site activation will include Makita tool demonstrations and displays, allowing snocross race fans to see the very latest in Makita innovation.

The 2015-16 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series, the featured national series within International Series of Champions (ISOC) snocross racing, is similar to motocross in the style of racing on closed circuits of varying shapes and sizes containing high-flying jumps, bumps and corners in both directions. The racing is close quarters with the riders rarely seated because of the rough conditions and speeds up to 65 mph. The 2015-16 season runs through March and includes national broadcast coverage on the CBS Sports Network.
