Get ready for a weekend full of snow and sled racing at the Canterbury Park U.S. Air Force Snocross National from January 10-11, 2025. With a schedule full of activities for the whole family, this two-day event promises to deliver entertainment value like never before.

Located at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota, the venue provides indoor seating for spectators who want to stay cozy while watching high-flying Snocross action. As long-time Snocross sponsorship partners, we are proud to have the United States Air Force as the official event title sponsor.

Partnering with the USAF is an honor for Snocross, so we proudly announce a returning decades-old tradition. During the Opening Ceremonies on the evening of Saturday, January 11, 2025, the USAF will conduct DEP swear-ins for incoming Delayed Entry Program members to take an oath of enlistment.

Several activities will be available throughout the two-day event, including the second annual Sled Showcase. In this event, enthusiasts can display their snowmobiles behind ropes for people to check out, similar to a car show. Inflatable tubes will also be available all weekend for those wanting to have fun with traditional downhill sledding.

Other weekend activities include Face Painting from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Air Brush Tattoos will also be available from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Another activity popular with kids is the official AMSOIL Coloring Zone, where creativity becomes an art masterpiece that will find its way to being on your refrigerator.

Do you want to meet your favorite Snocross drivers? The Pro Autograph Session will take place on Saturday, January 11, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Be sure to bring your favorite gear or posters to get an autograph you will cherish forever.

Don’t forget to stop by the USAF Quick Change Challenge to test your ski-changing skills in a race against the clock. Every participant receives a gift, and the weekend’s fastest time wins a grand prize. How fast can you change a sled ski? Here’s your chance to prove it!

Industry vendors such as AMSOIL, Ski-Doo, C&A Pro Skis, and others will have display booths throughout the event. These vendors will give fans and enthusiasts a chance to see the latest innovations and what’s coming in the future from some of the biggest names in winter sports.

Opening ceremonies with fireworks will occur on both nights of the USAF Snocross National Canterbury Park event, which will get everyone fired up for racing. Throughout the two-day event, kids will also have the opportunity to ride snowmobiles.

Canterbury Park is also known for its delicious food, from mini donuts and cheese curds to freshly made sandwiches and burgers. Local Shakopee favorites will be on-site, including Unbakeable Edible Cookie Dough, Mr. Pig Stuff BBQ, pizza, and pasta. Multiple full bars are available on each grandstand level, where you can order your favorite beer or cocktail.

If you want to try your hand at the casino, it’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Canterbury Casino provides poker and other table games. From year-round tournaments, jackpots, and simulcast wagering, there is something for all adults at the casino. There is even table-side food and beverage service from the friendliest staff in Minnesota. Feel free to play at the casino before or after the races!

Canterbury Park’s convenient location makes it easily accessible from 394, 494, 35W, or Highway 13. Free parking is available upon arrival, and the entrance gates are only a short walk away.
