The AMSOIL Championship Snocross, presented by Brunt Workwear, kicked off its Duluth weekend on Thursday at Spirit Mountain with the annual Showdown at Sundown, bringing together a deep field of amateur talent from across the country. Seventeen classes filled the program, showcasing the next generation of snocross riders alongside seasoned grassroots competitors, all converging on one of the sport’s most iconic venues.
Snow and wind added an extra layer of challenge throughout the day and into the night, creating a demanding race surface that tested riders across every division. With different classes and new faces in the spotlight, the goal remained the same—stand on top and leave Duluth with bragging rights. From start to finish, the Showdown at Sundown delivered a full slate of competitive racing to open the final weekend of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross.
