With warmer temperatures and spring approaching, Damexco Racing is looking to crank up the heat for the final two races of the 2013 snocross season.
The team heads west this weekend to Lake Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI for the season finale on the ISOC Amsoil Championship Snocross. Michael George will pilot the No. 307 in the Pro Lite division.
After Lake Geneva, the team will return to the North East for the final stop on the East Coast Snocross tour in Malone, NY and looks to end the season strong after battling all year through adversity. At the most recent ECS stop in Boonville, NY, Michael George was able to finish top-3 in Sunday’s Pro Open final and really begin to capitalize with his new team.
“I am really starting to adjust well on the Damexco Racing machines,” said Michael George. “It took us a few races for Luc and I to become familiar with each other, but we have finally reached the right combination and the results are starting to show.”
In off track news, Lucas Brunelle has been recovering from his season-ending injury and was scheduled to undergo surgery last month, but it has been postponed to next week. He has even made some laps around the race shop and is already looking forward to next year!
“As a team, we went through a lot this year,” said Team Owner Luc Brunelle. “We are adjusting really well with Michael coming aboard halfway through the season. I believe we are only just starting to see his promising potential.”
