For those of us who grew up in Minnesota, it was not uncommon to hear morning news reports of record low temps being set for the nation in the iron range cluster towns of Tower and Embarrass. Well just down the road from those communities is the little village of Aurora, which happens to be the home of the Planet X test and practice facility. We were at Planet X last night visiting with the Scheuring Speed Sports team and shortly after we left, the snow guns were at full throttle.

The Scheuring squad is hoping to start making tracks as early as Monday with Planet X on schedule to open by the middle of next week.
