Officials with ISOC and AMSOIL Championship Snocross, presented by Traxxas, are pleased to announce the series’ participation with the summer’s premier destination for snowmobilers – the 47th annual Sno Barons Snowmobile Club Hay Days – near North Branch, Minn., Sat. and Sun., Sept. 7th & 8th.
With some $60,000 on the line in estimated purse, Hay Days’ popular snowmobile grass drag events draw competitors from all over North America and as far away as Europe. Classes ranging from Stock sleds to the record-breaking, 140 mph-plus Top Fuel/Outlaw machines – and even the little kids in the Kitty Kat races – pack the fans in from all over the region in what’s become an unofficial kick-off of sorts for AMSOIL Championship Snocross.
“Hay Days has always been a gathering of snowmobile enthusiasts like no other during the summer and AMSOIL Championship Snocross is pleased to align ourselves with such a fun and well-organized event,” said Carl Schubitzke, ACS President/Race Director. “In addition to the flat out thrilling drag racing, Hay Days’ Swap Meet is far and away the place to hit for snowmobile parts and accessories. And AMSOIL Championship Snocross’ booth will be right in the middle of everything, so we look forward to re-connecting with the fans of the series here in a couple days.”
AMSOIL Championship Snocross will broadcast “Live” (via snocross.com) from its booth from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring the top racers on the ACS circuit, along with information on the upcoming race season and new products hitting the snowmobile market.
