WITTWER PODIUMS IN FOUR CLASSES AT BESSEMER.

Bessemer, Michigan. (December 9, 2013) – Despite frigid temperatures and poor visibility due to snow dust, Arctic Cat/Speedwerx rider Trent Wittwer did not falter. The ISOC National snocross series made it’s second stop of the season at the Blackjack Ski Resort in Northern Michigan. Here Wittwer competed both Friday and Saturday in the Junior 14-15 and Junior 16-17 classes.

Despite being one of the younger riders in the classes, Wittwer made his presence known early by going 1-3 in his heats and a taking the 2nd place in the final of the Junior 16-17. In the Junior 14-15, Wittwer went 1-3 in his heats and a 3rd in the final.

Saturday’s riding conditions matched the previous day, however Wittwer was determined to be back on the podium for day two of racing. In the Junior 16-7 Wittwer again won his first heat, then placed 4th in his second heat and brought home a 3rd place finish in the final. In the first heat of the Junior 14-15 Wittwer got tied up on the start with another racer, but fought back to a 5th place finish. In the next round Wittwer stormed out of the gate and took the checkered in 1st place and then 3rd place in the final.

?”Overall it was a great weekend entering four classes and leaving with four podium finishes. However, there is still more work to be done as I continue my climb to the top of the podium” stated Wittwer.

Next up will be the Quadna Mountain Park Regional #1, December 14-15 in Hill City, Minnesota.
