Team Jimmy John’s athlete, Marica Renheim took the championship during the opening round of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series. The reigning women’s Pro Am Champion defended her title by going 1 and 1 in her heat races and dominating the field in front of record
crowds in Duluth, Minnesota on Sunday.

Fellow teammates Darrin Mees, Colby Crapo and Adam Renheim struggled to get holeshots a day earlier for Men’s Pro competition- with Mees and Crapo ending up in the LCQ and none advancing to the final. In Sunday’s Round 2 Adam Renheim went 4 and 2 in his heat races,
advancing to the main to make the front row. After faltering in the bottleneck of turn one traffic, Renheim lost ground and finished 9th.

“ The team worked feverishly over the weekend to find the right combination, and we definitely have our work cut out for us. The competition is tight here. That’s what makes it fun! We are excited with Marica’s win here and we are back to testing and prepping for Fargo.” —Garry Querel
