Dec. 9, 2014 – Minnesota’s Tucker Hibbert will compete in his home snocross event this weekend at Buffalo River Race Park (BRRP) in Glyndon, Minn. The defending ISOC Pro Open Champion and Pelican Rapids resident lives within 30 miles of the track and is looking forward to competing in front of local race fans.
Despite unseasonably warm temperatures and low snowfall, BRRP has a national caliber track built and is prepared to host its fourth consecutive ISOC event. Typically held in the spring, the event was moved up and will serve at the second stop of the eight-stop tour.
Hibbert kicked-off the 2014-2015 season Thanksgiving weekend in Duluth, Minn. by winning all four of his qualifying rounds and both Pro Open finals. He now holds 97 pro national victories and is in hot pursuit of claiming his 100th pro national win.
Pro racing action takes place at BRRP Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will be streamed live online at ustream.tv/isoc and delay broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Tickets and pit passes are available for purchase at the gate. For more information on the event, visit snocross.com.

“This is always one of my favorite events of the season. With traveling year-round for racing, it’s really nice to be able to sleep at home on a race weekend. It definitely brings in a comfort factor. Plus, it’s exciting to know I’ll have so many of my friends and family at the event cheering me on.”
“It feels good to have the first event out of the way. Duluth is always a guessing game. You prepare the best you can but never know how ready you are until you hit the track. Now, I know where I sit, and am fully confident I’m where I need to be. My equipment is solid, my crew is on-point and I’m healthy. It’s an awesome starting point for the season.”
“It’s a bummer there isn’t much snow. The good news is it’s going to be warm this weekend, which will be awesome for fans. With low snow, snowmobilers can’t get in much riding so hopefully they’ll come to the race to get their fix!”
