Finley, ND (March 26, 2017) – Jay Lura ended the season on the podium at the Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with a second place finish in the Sport class. It was Lura’s second runner-up finish in consecutive race weekends, helping secure fifth place for the season in the highly competitive division.
Evan Christian had a fifth place in Jr. 16-17 to go along with a pair of sixth place main event results in Jr. 14-15 and Sport Lite. Christian was also able to capture fifth overall in the national standings in the respective Junior classes. The Amsoil Championship Snocross tour does not keep overall points in the Sport Lite division.

James Johnstad finished in the top five in all of his Pro Lite heat races during the weekend. Johnstad faced a tough field of competitors on Grand Finale weekend but raced his way into the main event on Sunday, where he finished 10th.
