Longville, MN (January 13, 2015) – After nearly a month off, Team LaVallee was back on the road for Rounds 5 and 6 of the ACS Snocross Series. The next stop, Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. One of the most anticipatedand favorite tracks on the circuit this season. Each year, Canterbury Park never seems to disappoint. With record- breaking crowds and an action packed track, both racers and the fans were in for a memorable racing weekend.
Kicking things off on Friday night, for the 2-Day National, Team LaVallee riders (Pallin, Scott, and Lieders) were looking strong and with awesome qualifying rounds, each rider was able to make it into the Round 5 Final. Off of the start of the 15 lap Final, all three Team LaVallee riders were sitting mid-pack. Each rider was charging hard, but the opportunities to make clean passes didn’t present itself in order to move up positions. Scott and Pallin were able to finish behind one another with a 6th and 7th place (a new best finish for Scott this season), while Lieders just missed finishing within the top 10, with a notable 11th place finish.
Saturday night was sure a memorable one for Team LaVallee. All 3 riders, again, were able to make it into the Round 6 Final – with Pallin in the front row and Scott and Lieders in the back via the LCQ (last chance qualifier). Off of the starting line, Pallin ripped the holeshot and started his way to a victorious first place finish. Pallin rode one of the most consistent and smooth races he has shown in his Pro career. With the 15-lap final (feeling like a never-ending-final) the white flag finally showed it face – meaning Pallin had one lap to go. As the checkered flags were in sight, Pallin excitedly crossed the finish line with a huge fist pump (and undoubtedly, a huge smile on his face) as Pallin just won his first ever Pro final. Scott and Lieders rounded out the weekend in 11th and 14th place, and hurried to congratulate fellow teammate, Pallin, on his victory.
“This is what racing is all about! All of the training, time, and effort that goes into racing – winning is what makes it all worth it. I felt like a proud parent congratulating Kyle on his first Pro win. Taking home a first place finish is never just a one-man accomplishment. Moments like this are possible because of the support of our mechanics, sponsors, friends, and family that are there pushing our riders and helping them achieve their goals. It was a memorable night for Team LaVallee, and a race I am sure Kyle won’t ever forget. Congratulations Kyle!” – Levi LaVallee (Co-Owner/Pro Snowmobiler, Team LaVallee)
