AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour was a success for the Leighton Motorsports team, with riders qualifying for six out of seven possible main events and racing to two podium finishes.

Each of the team’s riders scored at least one heat race win during the weekend, with Corin Todd leading the three-main assault in Pro Lite, collecting two heat race wins and finishing second in Sunday’s final. On Saturday, Trevor Leighton raced to a heat race win and was the team’s top finisher in the class with a fifth overall.

For 2013 Sport Class Champion Zak Mason, the weekend provided the opportunity to find his rank among the top riders in the world as he made his first start in Pro Lite. Mason turned heads early with a heat race victory to begin the weekend and would ultimately finish 11th and eighth respectively, in main events.

Jennifer Pare set out to defend her 2013 Pro-Am Women’s title winning the first heat of the day and following up with second place finishes in heat two and the main event.
